Building a habitat
While in New Orleans this month at the Golf Industry Show, GCM’s senior associate editor Seth Jones will roll up his sleeves and join in the action for the show’s Habitat for Humanity work days, the first-ever volunteer project in conjunction with GIS. The work days will take place on Feb. 3-4 before the trade show floor opens, and participants from all partnering organizations will gather to help build homes in some of New Orleans’ most devastated areas. Tournament time
Last year Seth Strickland blew away the competition at the GCSAA National Championship in Orlando, and this year he’ll be back to defend his title at this year’s version of the event that precedes the Golf Industry Show every year.
