Rounds 4 Research
GCSAA chapters now have an innovative way to raise money for research in your area through Rounds 4 Research.
The Rounds 4 Research program was designed to address a critical shortage in turfgrass research funding by auctioning donated rounds of golf through an online auction, www.biddingforgood.com.
The program is administered by the Environmental Institute for Golf, the philanthropic organization of GCSAA.
Rounds 4 Research allows GCSAA chapters and turfgrass foundations to participate as fundraising partners with the majority of proceeds going back to those organizations. In this way, these organizations can direct the proceeds to specific projects that will have the most significant impact in their local areas.
A guide to the program and pledge forms have been sent to chapter presidents and executives to start the chapter enrollment process. To participate in the program, chapters need to return the pledge form, and once they're enrolled in the program, chapters will receive additional materials to support their activation efforts.
