External Education Providers

How to Receive Education Points for Chapter-Developed Seminars:

Criteria

In order to qualify for education points, a chapter-developed program must meet the following requirements:

  • Provide education relevant to the golf course management profession.
  • Have clearly defined learning objectives.
  • Have a minimum program length of one hour.
  • Must be non-commercial.

How to Apply

To have a program reviewed for education points, a representative must complete the Chapter External Education Application and return it to GCSAA headquarters at least 30 days prior to the event. If you have questions about the process, contact Diana Kern at 800-472-7878, ext. 3600.

Pre-approved External Education Providers

To assist you in providing education to our members, we have compiled a list of the external education providers that have been approved for the current calendar year. This list is in alphabetical order by program title and contains contact information. This list will be updated continuously throughout the calendar year as we approve providers, so visit regularly.

Verification of Attendance

Attendees of pre-approved programs will be given an approval code notice which contains an event approval code. Members must submit the event approval code back to GCSAA, within 30 days of the event, as verification of their attendance and record the education points. Attendees can submit the code using the online education point affidavit, or by requesting a hard copy of the affidavit through GCSAA's new fax-on-demand system at 888-838-4419.
