Through the Speakers Bureau Program, GCSAA is focused on strengthening local/national ties.
Increase affiliated chapter representatives' awareness of GCSAA programs and services, strengthen the association's affiliation with its chapters and assess how GCSAA can better serve shared members.
A Speakers Bureau visit includes:
- a presentation that is delivered to members, either at a chapter meeting or conference. This presentation is approximately 45 minutes and covers topics of the chapter's choice.
- an additional 15-minute question and answer session following the presentation.
- a one-hour meeting between a GCSAA representative and the chapter's board of directors to have discussions regarding successes that members and the chapter are experiencing, as well as challenges, and how the chapter and GCSAA strengthen their affiliation. The board is asked to complete a questionnaire to identify specific topics, challenges and successes they would like to discuss with the GCSAA representative during the meeting.
GCSAA covers all costs and coordinates all travel arrangements and logistics for speakers bureau visits and strategic planning sessions.
