A new conference, a new spin on a session favorite! With the topic chosen by members, this educational and entertaining session will focus on wetting agents and their uses for superintendents. Thom Nikolai, Ph.D., internationally known as the Doctor of Green Speed, will be your host, while the Turfgrass Talk Show Band (more commonly known as the Bronk Bros.), featuring GCSAA members John Fulling, CGCS, and Heath Bronkema, will provide music.
You’ll develop an understanding of how wetting agents actually work to treat localized dry spots and how their application affects the distribution of moisture throughout putting green root zones. This knowledge will help you adjust irrigation practices during summer stress periods to produce better playing conditions without compromising turf health. Morris and Taylor will discuss this research in terms of practical application on the golf course, and Karcher will discuss his groundbreaking wetting agent research program, funded in part by GCSAA and the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture.
Don’t miss this chance to learn and laugh with our panel of experts! When you ask, we answer.
