Chapter Executives Session

The session will kick off with a discussion on how chapter leaders and executives can take advantage of outreach assistance and GCSAA grants to help advance their programs and initiatives. Take advantage of the chance to pick up new ideas, concepts and techniques to strengthen your chapter’s effectiveness and aid in your professional development. The session will conclude with a share-fair – an opportunity for you to share your successes and the challenges facing your chapter.

Chapter newsletters are unique publications with their own sets of challenges. Join us as we discuss chapter newsletters and concentrate on editorial philosophy, how to plan an issue, how to make it look professional, how to use photos to enhance your publication, and common pitfalls to avoid. Bring a copy of your chapter’s publication and be prepared to learn from your peers. There will be plenty of opportunities to share what makes your chapter’s publication a valuable and effective communication tool.
