Iowa State repeats win at 18th annual Collegiate Turf Bowl in Las Vegas
Las Vegas odds were good to the Iowa State Cyclones. Students from Iowa State University defended the school's title, once again, by winning GCSAA's 18th annual Collegiate Turf Bowl Competition, presented in partnership with John Deere Golf, March 1 in Las Vegas. It is the 12th title for the Cyclones in the last 14 years.
Teams from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (2nd), the University of Maryland (3rd, 7th), the University of Wisconsin-Madison (4th), the University of Arkansas (5th), Purdue University (6th, 9th), the University of Connecticut (8th), and Penn State (10th), rounded out the top 10, as 87 teams from 44 colleges and universities participated in the competition.
